{Preparation 28} – Ich packe meinen Koffer und nehme mit… / packing list

Hallo Leute, hier bin ich schonwieder! 🙂

Wie schon im andern Beitrag erwähnt, habe ich heute meine Koffer fertig gepackt! 😀 (endlich!!) Man glaubt kaum wie nervig das ganze Packen sein kann, wenn der Koffer zu klein, die Kleider zu viel, das Wetter zu heiß und die Zeit zu kurz ist :’D Letztendlich hat jedoch alles geklappt und vor mir stehen ein großer Koffer mit 21,6 kg (anfangs wog er 28 Kilo, also sind Fortschritte erkennbar 😀 ), ein kleiner Koffer mit 11 Kilo (der eigentlich nur 8 wiegen dürfte, jedoch hoffe ich dass das Handgepäck nicht gewogen wird^^) und ein “kleiner” (etwas vollgestopfter) Rucksack 😀

Schon seit einiger Zeit wollte ich eigentlich meine Packliste posten, da einige Au Pairs danach gefragt hatten und ich auch viel darüber nachgedacht hatte (mit Mimis Hilfe fertiggestellt, nicht zu vergessen 😉 ) Nun hat es jedoch ein bisschen länger gedauert, da ich immer mal wieder etwas geändert habe und keine unvollständige Liste hochladen wollte 😛

Ein kleiner Tipp: Rollt eure Kleider und alles was ihr rollen könnt beim packen. Es ist wirklich wahr, so geht am meisten in den Koffer. 😀 Nun habe ich sogar noch etwas “Platz” übrig, der aber als kleiner Puffer bleiben soll… hoffe ich zumindest! 😀

As I said in my last post… my suitcases are packed! 😀 (finally!!!) You can’t believe how stressful and exhausting it can be to pack if the suitcase is too small, the clothes are too much, the weather is too hot and the time is too short :’D But at the end all worked out and with 21,7 kg the big suitcase is below the limit 😀 Only the cabin case is too heavy but I will hope that they won’t weight it.. 😛

Since a long time I wanted to post my packing list but there were always some changes and it just wasn’t finished yet. But with Mimi‘s help it is finally ready 😀

A little tip: If you are rolling your clothes you can fill more things in the case… and yes, it really works, believe me 😉 Now, I even have a little buffer because the suitcase isn’t totally full yet!

{Preparation #25} – It’s all about the money! – credit card & dollars

Hallöchen zurück! 🙂

Gestern und heute habe ich sowohl eine Kreditkarte als auch meine Dollars bestellt – und das erst 18 Tage bevor ich Ausreise (nicht zu empfehlen!). Fangt lieber früh genug an alles zu beantragen, auch wenn die Ausreise noch weit weg erscheint, denn so ein plötzlicher Poststreik lässt einen manchmal etwas zittern Trotzdem hat der Bankangestellte mir zugesprochen, dass alles rechtzeitig ankommen wird, was echt erleichternd war.

Ein Tipp: Bei der Sparkasse gibt’s die Visa Gold Karte für alle zwischen 18 und 25 Jahren im “ersten Jahr” kostenlos. Damit kann man kostenlos im Ausland an Geldautomaten verfügen und ist in den ersten drei Monaten automatisch krankenversichert (was ich eigentlich nicht bräuchte, aber doppelt hält besser ;))

Es dauert ca. 10 Werktage bis die Karte ankommt und ca. eine Woche für die Dollars (zumindest bei uns im Ort) 😀 Also nochmal: haltet euch ran, wenn die Ausreise näher rückt. 😉 Außerdem habe ich noch eine Verfügung mit meinen Eltern abgeschlossen, damit sie Notfalls Zugriff auf mein Konto haben! 🙂

Gestern konnte ich zum ersten Mal etwas Aufregung spüren und hätte am liebsten angefangen zu packen… (Es lag an den Videos von Agnes, deren Vlog ich echt super finde und ich so fast täglich eines ihrer Videos anschaue 😀 )…am Ende blieb es dann an den Gastgeschenken hängen, die ich noch nicht ganz fertig habe 🙂 Ansonsten bin ich eigentlich noch ziemlich ruhig. Ich rechne jeden Tag damit, Angst zu bekommen, weil jetzt alles so nah ist, aber bis jetzt freue ich mich einfach nur, dass mein Au Pair Jahr in fast 2 Wochen endlich beginnt! 😀 Etwas Traurigkeit alle und alles hier zu “verlassen” bleibt natürlich trotzdem…

Hey back! 😀

Yesterday I appied for a credit card and ordered dollars – 18 days before my departure! And I can truly tell you: Begin as early as possible becuase there can always be an unexpected post walkout 😉 Nevertheless the bank assistant told me that all the things will luckily arrive in time. 🙂

 

The duration is 10 working days for the card and one week for the dollars. Additionally, me and my parents made a contract with the bank so that they can access my account in case of need.

Also, I could feel a lot of excitement yesterday for the first time und it was hard not to start packing right away…( the reason was the videos of Agnes; I really like her vlog! – sorry she’s Austrian and her videos are in German..). Apart from that I am calm because I’m looking so much forward to this year and can’t wait to get in the plane soon 😀 (yeees, the sadness because of leaving my home stays..).
